This place has enough five star reviews but am not seeing enough about the kalimera salad! 10000/10 would recommend this salad. The watermelon, creamy feta blend, and mint all compliment each other in a way I can't describe with words. I know a salad for breakfast is weird but do yourself a favor and get it!!

We came here on a Sunday afternoon. It was insanely packed but staff was very sweet and kind and accommodated us with amazing table. Now lets talk about food. We ordered the large platter for two with everything you can eat for breakfast. And let me tell you something, every single item was fresh and delicious to the max. The satisfaction was over the roof. We also ordered frappe and it hit the spot. Wish this cafe was by my house, Id be going there every week. Highly recommended

We arrived on a weekend about 20 mins after it opened. All inside tables were taken and there were a couple of tables outside available. We chose to wait for a table inside. The wait was about 10 minutes. The layout is a combination of a diner and a cozy home space. There were memorabilia references around the space from toys, pictures, video cassettes and artwork. The coffee was hot and the brew was tasty. The orange juice was fresh and there was no pulp. The food did not take long to be served after ordering. The eggs were fresh, the tomatoes tasty but the lemon potatoes that sat over the Greek yogurt were too salty to enjoy. The server was alerted but they said due to the batch all being precooked, if another serving was provided it would be salty too. The bit of potatoes I tried were not overly lemon and they had potential to be very good. We shared a stack of two pancakes with blueberry. They were fluffy and tasty and we both enjoyed them. Not pictured here was a banana bread taken to go. I tried it later in the day and it was very good. It was not overly sweet.

Got the blues bowl! It was refreshing yet decently filling. I loved the atmosphere of the place, it was casual and lively but not too loud. The staff was also nice, and let me use the bathroom before I was seated (not common in NYC haha). I went with a group of friends and nobody had any regrets... so that's a win!

The staff is across the board friendly at this cute luncheonette. The hostess was accurate about the weekend wait which was incredibly reasonable as this restaurant regularly pauses new reservations so there is never a mob out front (look and learn chaos generating Win Son which had a block long line that looped around). You can also pop into fashion shop Kalimera next door while you wait. I sat at the old fashioned counter and ordered some comfort food after ten days out of the country- fried eggs with orange yolks, avocado toast and a cinnamon sugar swirled Greek frappe (not too sweet). Nothing heavy, the perfect portion size which is rare to find at a diner. Staff was smiling and kind, never rushed you even though it was brunch time. You are allowed the space to daydream amongst the colorful but peaceful decor. One small gripe- I prefer drinking water out of glass as it never tastes good out of plastic.

This is the most delicious brunch I have tried in New York! Got to the spot at 10:15a on a Sunday and waited 20 minutes for a table for 2 inside. The interior was decorated as a diner with Greek and Blue accents. The food was spectacular, I enjoyed everything and the shake was also delicious. I highly recommend this spot! I am already wanting to go back.

I feel like this is the place to go when you want a filling breakfast/brunch that is also refreshing and not too greasy. I got the Zorba plate: We have our well-seasoned potatoes and eggs, plus some delicious, juicy heirloom tomatoes. The homemade tzatziki and grilled halloumi pulls everything together nicely into a creamy, filling breakfast that is just enough. Not too much, not too little. The eggs yolks are just the most gorgeous orange shade! And they tasted so fresh. They also have a green hot sauce that pairs well with the Greek flavors of this breakfast.

Such a great brunch spot, loved every bite! I'd opt for the outside seating if it's not too hot out. Friendly staff and food comes quick. The Greek bagel was absolutely unreal, creamy, zesty, and packed with flavor. It's a fun platter and you can add various toppings (tomato, pickled onions, lox) Loved the baklavaa crumble banana bread. Not too sweet and so decadent! Pro tip: come before 10:00am to avoid waiting on a weekday! Come before opening on weekends.

If you're looking for a charming, sun-dappled brunch eatery reminiscent of the classic Greek diner with a modern twist, you can join the lines at Baby Blues Luncheonette. I was as drawn to their blue interior, with hanging plants and bookshelves as much as the rest of this Brooklyn brunch crowd that I had to compete for a table with. The real draw though, lies in their food. After waiting at the next door matcha cafe for a text from the restaurant, which took over an hour, my friend and I eventually found ourselves at one of their little tables, squeezing in like the well-stuffed olives we later enjoyed on our brunch plate. "The Hits" was a compilation of some of my favorite things to eat-- smoked salmon, halloumi cheese, banana peppers, pita bread, creamy feta cheese, and soft boiled eggs. There was even some fig jam! We rounded out our meal with their banana baklava, which was a tad too sweet for my liking for did taste great with a cup of their strong black coffee. While I loved the bright hues and fresh flavors on my plate, I wouldn't wait 90 mins again for a table here. Hopefully this success means they can expand!
